Since it is made of mahogany wood, has a galvanized chain, and uses stainless steel screws and nuts fixed on the swing, this porch swing will retain its beauty and integrity for a long time. Assembly time for this swing is approximately 30 minutes. And for even more enhanced comfort while you swing, add comfort springs for some bounce in your swing! The seat portion is flat, not contoured. Please note that it is recommended to let your porch swing sit outside for 2-3 days before sitting on it to let the stain air out and completely dry.

Mahogany is a durable, tropical hardwood with a fine grain that is resist to rot, mildew, and decay. When used outdoors, mahogany wood should be refinished annually to maintain a beautiful, scratch-resistant finish.

Assembly Information:
Some assembly is required with this porch swing (approximately 30 minutes). Common wood glue is required for assembly but is not included. The chain provided is 55 inches long, so additional chain may be required.
