Warranty is for one year. At one year and one month in the hot sun of the south, it completely fell apart. Just touch it and it would rip!!!!

        Comments about Shelter Logic ShelterLogic 20 x 12 Garage-in-a-Box™:

You do not need a building permit. Took on 60 mpg winds and hard rains. Have to remember to brush off snow with correct broom. Read instuctions. We have a garage but needed a place to store our 16 ft boat and trailer, 4x4, lawn mower, rototiller and other garden tools. (12x20x8 garage in a box) It would help to have some friends over to help. We had one and they got it together in 2 days. Lay out parts. Saves space in garage and from buying many covers on things left out in the winter.

Used to keep my PU out of the weather and getting hit by nuts falling off surrounding woods. One thing I recommend; watch the video before setting up.. The instruction booklet needs some clarifications. But all in all, once you know what you need to do, it goes up nice..Pleased with results.

Needed an other shelter to protect my car as the primary garage already was being used to store my collectable. Instructions could be confusing read throughly before starting. Put this up in just over three hours. Would buy again when the need araises.

            Customer Q & A

Q1: 102309juh7 (NA150) Is this producted rated for winter use?

A: This item can be used for winter use however it is not specifically designed for heavy snow. ShelterLogic recommends that you remove snow from the canopy with a long broom or some thing similar. Do not use a metal snow shovel to remove snow as you could tear the fabric. This shelter is certainly designed to protect against damages caused by the sun, rain, tree sap, birds, etc.

Q2: 102809gen7  (NA150)  What is the snow load capacity of this item?

A: ShelterLogic does not give this carport garage a snow rating. It will protect against winter weather but snow should be removed with a long broom or something similar to prevent sagging and joint stress. Do not use a metal snow shovel as this could tear or damage the fabric.

Q3: Will the canopy hold up to snow in the Northeast?

A: This canopy does not have a techincal rating for snow. ShelterLogic says that it will tolerate snow and winter weather in general but you should remove the snow from the canopy top to prevent sagging and potential damage. Use a long broom or something similar to remove the snow...do not use a metal snow shovel as it could tear the fabric.
