We recently completed construction of our new house and were desperate for something to provide shade for our patio in a tree-less backyard. This umbrella is everything we had hoped for...a large, versatile, sturdy, and attractive addition to our new patio at a fraction of the cost of other options we considered. We researched pergolas and gazebos that were considerably more expensive and infinitely less flexible. The Coral Coast umbrella allows us to provide much needed shade to our new patio at a fraction of the cost. The tilt and swivel features also allow us to adjust the umbrella easily to accommodate different seating arrangements. With few trees or houses around us, we are prone to some rather strong wind gusts even on the calmest of days. I was concerned that the shear size of this umbrella would make it vulnerable on windy days...but I was wrong. So far it has withstood everything Mother Nature has thrown at it. My only complaint is that even a tall person will have difficulty putting on and taking off the cover for this umbrella. Only a minor inconvenience considering the benefits. Although we initially intended this to be a temporary solution to provide shade, it has quickly become apparent that this will serve as a permanent fixture on our patio.

Not 5 star product due to the fact that if a missing part is not included ~ you must send the entire thing back! We did this...but the umbrella is high quality and they did get the replacement out in a few days so we are very pleased with the customer service and the product.

We love it. It is the finishing touch to our new Deck and Pool. It really makes it bearable to be outside in the middle of the day. The 13ft. worth of shade covers a wide area of the deck.

We use this on our deck. We have NO shade in our back yard from noon on and this is great. It is large, which we wanted;) and is easy to raise/lower. Love that it comes with a cover.

The 13' diameter nearly covers the entire end of the in-ground swimming pool. It is easy to open and close, and the umbrella tilt is awesome. We can enjoy the pool mid-day throughout the afternoon without getting too hot or having the sun glare. We are more than satisfied with the umbrella. Assembling it is done in 8 simple steps. We were amazed. Glad we bought it.
